Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Collections Representative will work to reduce the outstanding accounts receivable while providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

| Qualifications: |
Qualifications (Required):
Education:
High school diploma or GED
College degree required
Experience:
Pharmaceutical billing or collections experience required.
Minimum one year experience in medical claims insurance/medical billing.
Minimum one year collections experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to effectively and professionally resolve claims issues with insurance payors.
Ability to effectively and professionally discuss account balances with patients.
Ability to effectively follow through on an account or an issue until it is resolved.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the principles, procedures and best practices related to this position.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient level of software ability in using PC to support activities, especially Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff and customers.
The ability to work with confidential material and maintain confidentiality is required along with sensitivity to employees and customers needs and data.
Careful attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
