Job: Copay Assistance Specialist -- Columbus, OH
    Location: Columbus, OH
    Description: Days/Hours: • Monday-Friday • 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM • Must have scheduling flexibility and be able to work overtime Position Summary: • Approximately 90% of position is performed on the telephone • Works with physicians and patients to coordinate financial assistance for prescription copays • Contacts patients, physicians and potential funding sources to collect and process necessary documentation and patient financial information • Researches all funding opportunities for patient’s therapy • Responsible for required reporting for funding sources • Logs patient and call information into system
    Qualifications: Knowledge and Skill: • Minimum of six months experience working in a call center environment, managing inbound and outbound calls, and logging calls in computer system • Experience with providing service to elderly population strongly preferred • Past experience within the pharmacy industry is helpful • Excellent follow up skills • Demonstrated ability to work independently • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with all employee levels and customers • Ability to work with confidential material and maintain confidentiality along with sensitivity to patients’ needs and data • Excellent attention to detail • Proficient level of software proficiency in using PC software to support activities, especially Microsoft Office applications Education/ Experience: • High School Diploma is required • Candidates with some college coursework completed strongly preferred Criteria Questions (Please provide in your response): 1) Do you have a high school diploma? 2) Have you worked in a call center for at least six months? 3) Have you worked with elderly populations? 4) Do you enjoy talking on the telephone? 5) Are follow up skills one of your strengths? 6) Do you demonstrate compassion and courtesy while helping others? ~CAS
